Jennifer Sharp is an award winning film director and graduate of New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. Her feature film, “I’m Through With White Girls” won twelve awards including the Blockbuster Best US Feature award at the American Black Film Festival. It also garnered her an award for Best Director. After a limited theatrical release in 2008, it aired on Showtime Television.
Other films that she directed and produced are: “Time Travelers”, “Boxed”, “Waiting” & “Tour of Duty”.
She coordinates the film production program of Camp Hollywood Heart, an arts camp in Malibu for teenagers affected by HIV and AIDS. She also volunteers with Make a Film Foundation, which helps chronically and terminally ill children make films.
She finds a balance to her filmmaking by staying active and competing in beach volleyball.She plays competitively on the US beach volleyball circuits, and in 2008 she represented the US in the Norceca Cayman Island event.
