We were privileged to do the reversible jerseys for the Battle in the Bluffs tournament that took place over the July 4th weekend. The tournament also consisted of a youth skills clinic. Both events went well and were a great success. The events were held at Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts. Here are some photos of the event.

AboutSouthern California Summer Pro League
The Southern California Summer Pro League (“SPL”) is entering its 39th year as the premier summer showcase for basketball’s greatest teams and showmen. The League is the summer stage where undiscovered players perform. It is the medium through which both raw and experienced basketball talent can maintain and hone their skills through competitive league play.
Every NBA team has participated in the SPL throughout its unprecedented history. Not surprisingly, SPL has served as a launching pad for many great NBA careers. Over 800 current and former NBA players have participated in the League. No basketball organization in the world possesses the quality and diversity of great competitors that the League has enjoyed for over three decades. NBA players, international teams, and the greatest college players in America–the Summer Pro League has it all!
As many celebrate the nation’s Indpendence and all the great things about this country, we wanted to share with you a brief & positive interview that Jay did last week when he visited the Drew League. He met up with Rock Johnson, coach of the I-Can All Stars. I-Can All Stars is part of the Amer-I-Can organization.
Through Amer-I-Can, Rock has helped get numerous kids into college. Several notable players who’ve been apart of their program were Derrick Williams, Jordan Hamilton, Paul George, Hassan Adams. This year alone, there were 7 young men who were a part of their program and graduated this year from Division 1 schools.
Amer-I-Can was was founded in 1988 by NFL Hall of Fame recipient, Jim Brown. The program goal is to help enable individuals to meet their academic potential, to conform their behavior to acceptable society standards, and to improve the quality of their lives by equipping them with the critical life management skills to confidently and successfully contribute to society. I-Can Youth and Academic Foundation is a local non-profit organization dedicated to serving our youth through sports, mentoring, tutoring and life skills. The staff is comprised of community volunteers including parents, members of law enforcement, aero space, clergy, firemen, military personnel, entertainers and athletes.
