K-Ups

Kenny Crudup, aka. K-Ups, can arguably be titled “Mr. All World“, between playing for the ABA‘s Los Angeles Stars, LA Summer Pro League in Long Beach, CA and other numerous international competitions, the 6’4″ athletic defensive combo guard with a 40″ vertical, made time to graduate from Cal State (San Bernadino) with a B.A. in Biology/Pre-med.

Kenny teaches & mentors students at Cloverdale Elementary in Moreno Valley, CA, where he educates and stresses self-confidence, charity and most importantly Faith in God.  He also fellowships at AHOPE Ministries in Moreno Valley, CA.   He’s ran basketball camps with Steve Thompson, formerly of Syracuse University and currently head Coach of Cal State University of Los Angeles.  He has also worked with Paul Hewitt, of Georgia Tech, in Manhattan Beach Basketball Camp.

When he isnt mentoring youth, or spreading good news of hope, libery & charity in Jesus Christ, the avid reader and chess player, enjoys a good game of tennis.

With the Hooptainers, Kenny has had the opportunity to bring his passion for helping young people and the game of basketball together.  He’s left a lasting impression on many kids who’ve have had the opportunity to interact with him.  See the video after the break..
