The LA Hooptainers will be one of the featured franchises in this first annual World Streetball Championship (WSBC). The WSBC is series of full court 3-on-3 no holds barred single elimination tournaments played in 5 major cities across the United States. If you lose you go home. This nationwide unprecedented street basketball tournament series will showcase the best well known streetball players across the globe. They will battle it out to see who has what it takes to be crowned champion of the ultimate streetball challenge.

World Streetball Championship will feature 8 teams loaded with the best streetball talent that New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Detroit and Oakland, has to offer. The winners of this tournament will be crowned champions of the World Streetball Championship and receive a GRAND PRIZE of $50,000. Each team is only allowed 5 players.

The series tournament will start August 4 –September 2, 2007. In 2008 the World Streetball Championship will expand its brand oversees, in which 8 countries will compete for the right to play against the US champion. These incredible players will participate in one of the most innovative basketball events on the planet.
